August 17, Daqing cloud computing industry base opened in Daqing Hi-tech Zone, marking Daqing officially moving in the new era of cloud technology.
Daqing Hi-tech Zone give the base a symbolic name - Lingyun Port, and is committed to build it into the province's cloud computing center, making Daqing a national cloud computing industry base. Lingyun Port can offer a variety of IT services for government e-government system, and provide cloud-based e-commerce services for the major institutions, large enterprises, and small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Lingyun Port was invested by Raycom, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lenovo Group. At present, its main body is not a cloud computing center, but a cloud box, which is a container type cloud computing center.
The project has an investment of 50 million yuan, has domestic leading science and technology content.It belongs to world-class cloud computing center and can carry out all functions of cloud computing center.
