The 12th session of the 11th NPC Standing Committee was held in Beijing on December 22 to continuously deliberate tortuous liability law draft, island protection law draft, renewable energy law amendment draft, social security laws draft, law draft of mobilization for national defense, election law amendment draft and firstly deliberate the revision draft of the organic law of villagers’ committee.
According to the meeting agenda, the 12th session of the Standing Committee will deliberate the bill on applying for deliberating the Decision (Draft) of the NPC Standing Committee on Calling the Third Session of the 11th NPC; the bill on the State Council’s applying for deliberating joining in the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, the bill on the State Council’s applying for deliberating and approving the Treaty of the People’s Republic of China and Malta on Criminal Judicial Assistance; the report of the State Council on boosting minor enterprises’ development and the report on boosting employment and reemployment; the tracking inspection report of the NPC Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee on the construction of rural social security system; and the report of the NPC Legal Commission, the Education Science Culture and Public Health Committee of the NPC, the Environment and Resources Protection Committee and the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee on deliberation raised by deputies and delivered to deliberate by the presidiums of the second session of the 11th NPC.
